Default Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Anyone getting excited for this movie? I know I am, hopefully the third one won't disappoint me.

Here is the link to the yahoo movie page about this film.

By the way, anyone here getting the blu-ray discs for the first two Pirates of the Caribbean movies?

Arrrrggg time to buy me movie tickets in advance!!

Me me me me me me ME!! I am so freaking excited for this movie, I can't wait for it to come out! Really sad that it is starting on a Thursday though... I have to work the next day so I won't be seeing it till the weekend or maybe not even until next weekend which saddens me. But dang it I am going to see it! Can't freaking WAIT!!!!

And no I am not going to buy the blu-ray discs of the first two. Why? Because I have them on DVD and Blu-Ray is just to darn expensive.

Pfft, I like this movie as much as the next person, but believe it or not, it's going to be the same movie on the first day as the one they will be showing a week or two from now, only diffrence is I don't have to put up with that one 7 foot tall guy in all of Maple Ridge who just happend to sit in front of me, the annoying teenages talking in stage whispers next to me, and let us not forget that loveable dork who thinks your seat is a foot stool and chewing his popcorn into a megaphone.

Personally I am playing hockey on the day it comes out, I'm going to wait a week, maybe two, maybe even three before I even start to think about seeing this movie... I don't really have to worry about people spoiling it for me, a swift punch to the gut normally shuts them up.

Anyways, great movie, but I am in no big rush to wait in line with Johnny Depp fan girls *shudders* ewww, fan girls.

It's had terrible reviews here, but I'll still see it. I'm with Ultimate_Gaara though; I'll probably see it on a night where no one sees films, or even god forbid during the day!! I have no wish to sit in a cinema full of annoying people...

I just hope the silly trend doesn't continue. The first was good, the second was silly but fun, so my hopes for the third are that it will be amusing, but I hope it doesn't get stupid...

I think I'll wait 3 to 4 weeks before I see this movie. Last time I tried to go on day one, all the theaters were sold out!

the film's about 2.5 hours, but in the UK (don't know about other countries) they have extended ads/previews which lasts around 30 mins. Extended ads/previews only occurs if a film is about 2.5 hours plus (I think).

Yesterday, it was at 36%.

Anyway, I won't see this as I never found this franchise to be spectacular (though I did like the first one; couldn't finish part 2, bored me to hell).

Pretty much why I never go see a movie on its first day/weekend. Hell, I haven't been to a theater for months.

#1 was pretty good
#2 would have been better if Davy Jones and his crew were real humans or Skeletons.
#3 should be watchable..once

Just saw it yesterday. It was good, but the length of it made some of the scenes seem like filler.

I thought the fight scenes were mediocre, mainly due to some of the lighting, and some of the scenes began to get really cheesy and cliche. I actually predicted some of the lines that the actors would say next! -.-

BUT the overall comedy factor was higher than usual in the pirates movies, and the plot was pretty interesting. There were a lot of laughs in the theater, and some random clapping.

I hope I said enough without giving away too much. Get to theaters soon and see the whole 2hrs, 40min long movie!

Watched it last night, slept on it, realized it's pretty badass; way better than the second.

Had a very epic feel, with lots of important characters who all either die or confront their fates, and are all unique enough that you don't confuse them, and on top of that all had different agendas!

I love it when a movie can pull something like that off without being too complex.

Will had kind of a bittersweet ending, though. *sniff*

Yeah it was pretty bloated in sections. The Keith Richards scene was pretty cool, especially when Jack asked about his “mum.” I think if it went through the editing room floor one more time, I think it would have been better.

I watched this today, and it was really freakin awesome. The most entertaining movie I've seen in ages. Makes Spider-man 3 look like a "Made for TV" movie
